What types of raw materials do you use?
			We process and manufacture turned products from a full range of carbon and specialty steel. We also can turn aluminum, brass and cast materials.
Do you have production quantity limits?
			No, while we definitely prefer and excel at high volume production quantities, we also perform single digit runs and engineering prototyping. In 2004, Hastings Machine Company produced and shipped in excess of 14,500,000 turned metal parts.
Do you have a parts inventory stocking program?
		Yes, we typically stock readily available and frequently ordered products for your customers as per agreement and end-user consumption.
	What is your typical lead-time?
		Tough question... we do not have a typical lead-time. Instead we treat every customer with the same urgency and care we want to be treated with. We manage our master-scheduling program to minimize delay and maximize availability. Generally, lead-time is controlled by the availability of raw material, if it is not already in stock, and piece-part quantity of order.
	Do you have an approved quality system?
		Absolutely! Hastings Machine Company is certified to ISO 9001:2000 - ANSI/ASQ Q9001-2000 quality system standards Throughout our numerous maintenance and re-certification audits, we have consistently been recommended as "unconditionally approved."
	May I call and actually speak to someone versus talking to an answering system?
		Most certainly! Sure, we utilize the latest in automated voice answering systems for your convenience and efficiency, but rest assured a friendly, warm and understanding person is also ready, willing and able to take your call. Not only are we ready to take your call... we are able to answer your questions.
	May I visit your facility with product needs versus calling or sending an RFQ?
		We welcome your visit! Our doors are always open for current and prospective customers. We have plenty of conference space to discuss your production machining needs.
