| The solution was very similar to that of the customer in Case Study #1. Hastings Machine Company performed a full range of macro, micro and individual piece-part analyses encompassing a multi-year period. From the analyzed data, we were able to help this customer in anticipating their customer's needs and in turn, their product needs from Hastings Machine Company.
The difference in Case Study #2 was that the customer was not aware of the extra work completed behind the scenes by Hastings Machine Company. The analysis in this case simply means that we are constantly evaluating ways to assist our customers even when they do not recognize a problem that requires attention. The impact of such analysis allows our customer and us to plan ahead of the demand curve rather than reacting to it.
